As Salamu Alaikum, 

Inna Lillah Wa InnaIlayhi Raji'oun.


Truly we belong to Allah and truly to Him shall we return. [Al-Baqara- (002:156)] 

 

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the demise of my father, Mr. Ghiasuddin Sachal Baloch. He expired in the early hours of Oct 25th 2010 in California, U.S.A after a protracted illness. May Allah (SWT) keep his soul in eternal peace.

 

Mr. Ghiasuddin Baloch had a distinguished life as a lawyer in the High Court & Supreme Court of Pakistan. He was also the founding President of Hidaya Trust, Pakistan(www.hidayatrust.org) a sister organization of Hidaya Foundation, USA, which executes all Hidaya projects in Pakistan.  Millions of people are benefiting from the work Mr. Ghiasuddin Baloch started and will continue as on going charity (Sadaqa Jariya).

 

He is survived by his wife, and our mother Johar Baloch, and five children: Shahid Nadeem Baloch - Islamabad, Dr. Nausheen Roohina Baloch -Karachi, Waseem Baloch – Santa Clara, CA, Irfan Baloch – Geneva, Switzerland, and Imran Baloch – Chandler, AZ.

 

We pray to Almighty Allah (SWT) to bless his soul with His forgiveness and mercy and make him amongst the people of Paradise.

 

 

 

Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

The sister organization of Hidaya Trust, Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts of both the organizations during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. It was awarded during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.
