Rebuilding Homes:

Millions of poor villagers have lost their mud homes due to the flooding.  It will cost minimum of $1000 to rebuild a home for a family in villages.

One Million Trees:

One of the factors that has resulted in the flooding is the fact that trees have been wrongfully cut down and sold by opportunists.  These trees which used to slow down and redirect the effects of flood waters are no longer their to serve the purpose.  It costs just $1 to plant a seedling.

Feed the Hungry:

Literally millions have lost everything and have no way to feed their families.  Hidaya has regular and seasonal projects which feed the poor in the flood affected regions.  Hidaya is distributing meals in the form of Dry Ration packages (enough to feed a family for a month), and cooked meals.

Projects in which we distribute meals include: One Million Meals , Fidya , Sadaqat-ul-Fitr , and Sadaqah in the form of Sacrifice.  Due to buying in bulk, it costs only 50 cents per meal for the dry ration food.  Also it costs $100 for a goat/sheep or $350 for an ox/buffalo for the sadaqah sacrifice.

Clean Drinking Water:

Flood waters have polluted drinking water wells, so the need for fresh water will increase tremendously. It costs $200 to install a water hand pump.
