Feed the Hungry - One Million Meals Project - October 11, 2006

Hidaya Foundation (www.hidayatrust.org), under its One Million Meals Project, arranges distribution of dry ration to the poorest of the poor in different parts of South Asia and West Africa.  More than one million meals are distributed every year, and each meal costs only 25 cents, because it is bought in bulk. Hence you can feed 200 deserving people just for $50, or 1000 people for $250.

This Ramadan, Hidaya Foundation is distributing thousands of dollars worth of rations at various locations in Cameroon, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan. This Ramadan, Sadqat-ul-Fitr is $8 per person. Kindly donate as soon as possible before Eid so it may be passed on to needy.  Hidaya Foundation distributes Sadaqat-Ul-Fitr in the form of dry rations.

Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

The sister organization of Hidaya Trust, Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts of both the organizations during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. It was awarded during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.
